Planetary Shifts This Month
September 5th - Mercury Direct - The three weeks of introspection and communication issues is over. Now we can shift our mental focus to positive Virgo mode and step back objectively to see what August's changes brought you, make plans for the future and go forward with the plan.
September 5th - Mars in Virgo - We now have the Sun and the action planet in Virgo too. This means everyone will be doing plenty of detail work, organising, debating, splitting hairs, maybe gossiping, and if we're lucky we will be getting tonnes of backlog nitty gritty stuff out of the way.
September 1st to 18th - Venus in Leo - This Venus says come adore me. It's great for us all to be putting ourselves first if we normally don't. If we usually have a looking out for number one model then be careful you aren't stepping into a narcissistic mode. Venus in Leo also can bring LOVE and playfulness, romance and self expression in a fun and satisfying way.
September 6th - Full Moon in Pisces - see below
September 9th - Mercury in Virgo - Now Mercury joins the cluster of Virgo planets. Lots of planets in Virgo means - get your taxes done. Read that long dry textbook. De-clutter and clean. Start that diet. You will have the ability to re-order your life more under these influences.
September 19th - Venus in Virgo - My goodness ! Now Venus join the cluster. Well, you know what that means. Venus in Virgo will make your goddess side come out to play though. It might make you very fussy about things you want. Remember when Meg Ryan orders pie in When Harry Met Sally ? well.. that's very Venus in Virgo. Knowing exactly what you want can be very sexy, or terribly overbearing depending on how you go about it.
September 20th - New Moon in Virgo - See below
September 22nd - Sun enters Libra! - The Libra Sun in the midst of all the Virgo energy will be very welcoming. A lighter hearted spirit, and an eye for art and music, cleverness without a critical edge, sense of humour.
September 28th - Jupiter opposite Uranus - The desire to expand into the Libra energy of compromise, beauty and fairness is opposed by the revolutionary ME energy of Uranus in Aries. The push and pull between self and others, pleasing the group vs forging it alone may be very strong in and around this day.
September 28th - Pluto Direct - Pluto has been retrograde since April 20th. What was going on in your life then ? IT will come back again. We can see what lessons we've learned in this chapter about facing our own shadow and that of others. Pluto direct may feel like a bang of a wake up call. The good news is whatever comes up to put book ends in this chapter of yours, you already saw the face of it once in the spring and can figure out a better way to handle it this time.
September 29th - Mercury enters Libra! Now our thoughts turn to the arts, the law, abstract thinking and a lot of weighing things. What is fair ? What is best? Libra Mercury is on the scales all the time and can't quite decide or commit to one thing. But they will be excellent times for compromise, mediation, negotiations and socialising.
All Month - Neptune Retrograde - This will last until November 22nd. We are entering a period where our sensitivities, dream life, psychic abilities and ability to receive information and energy around us is heightened. You may feel this is wonderful and give you a sense of connected-ness to yourself , or you may find this overwhelming and feel foggy minded by it. Meditation and a calm life will help if it's the latter.
Pluto Retrograde in Capricorn - All Month - Pluto will retrograde from April 20th to September 28th. Pluto is the transformer of the solar system, so it will provoke inner transformation while in retrograde. What might that look like ? You may feel afraid to let go and allow things to change. You may have power and authority issues come up - either other's control over you, or your own sense of personal control and power. This can extend to the victim/ abuser dynamic if we aren't careful. You will want to look at areas where you don't sue your personal power at all, or wisely, and areas of your life where you give away your power, and the need to stand up to abuse or bullying etc. Noticing the theme here? It is a time for healing in order to move forward this next few months .

The battles we may need to lay to rest are shown in the conjunction of the Moon and Neptune. This isn't an easy aspect. It means you can be on a transcendent high or a visionary state, but more often it's a delusional or misguided state of mind. IT's a state of emotion where you may feel like shutting down and numbing yourself vs feel everything in it's exquisite fullness as this aspect could. IT's is where you may reach for a drink instead of meditate and gain the insight it's showing you. So it can be full of misunderstandings on an emotional level, just as it could grant you the vision to create something mystical. It will be our choice. The best aspects this Full moon are in the fire trine with Saturn, Uranus, and Venus/Mars/Mercury. This is super strong for motivation and action. If we combine these energies in the positive we could use whatever emotion is being stirred to give us a breakthrough vision and go out and act on it boldly and strongly. In the negative it could have us impulsively acting on a total self delusion. We will need to bounce any big juicy ideas off the practical friends in our lives. But if they give you the go ahead, listen and start implementing ! And if they tell you to stop believing your own bullshit.. well, you know which side of this full moon is coming out.
Pluto is trine the Sun in Virgo so it can ground you during any of the emotional sweep that is coming. If your plans have been checked and are sound, it's a great time to put it into play concretely.

New Moon in Virgo - September 20th
New moons are always the time to plant a wish or idea or intention that can manifest by the full moon. It's a dark moon, or black moon and sits in the same sign as the sun. A new moon in Aquarius can bring out our inner rebel or renegade. We feel a desire to break free and be independent, follow our own ideas or create something new vs resurrect the old.

Mercury and Mars in Virgo are now opposing Neptune in Pisces. There is a war of sorts going on with that. It is often hard ot think straight or get clear on action to take with this. We can sabotage ourselves if we aren't careful with this aspect. In a natal chart it can even signify emotional or psychological abuse is present - so we should watch for that too in our lives. Since this New Moon has the degree of male power we need to watch for that energy operating behind the scenes or overtly in our daily life. If things aren't happening as you want them to, ask yourself if you are in an authoritative environment where it's not ok for you to have a voice etc.
The Sun and Moon in Virgo are also squaring off with Saturn which is also a tough aspect on our identity and emotions. We may feel we can't get what we want ... ever! There can be an air of frustration here and it deals with our values of serving others vs having our own freedom and whether we want to make those sacrifices or not.
The most positive aspects of this chart are the trine with Uranus in Aries, Saturn in Sagittarius and the North Node in Leo. The fire trine is pure vitality and action, bold and expressive and courageous. The tine aligning with the North Node even says that if you find the steam or fire to act on your goals now you will be fulfilling a karmic lesson or going towards your destiny somehow. If you can rise above the influences around you, no matter how dense or heavy they may seem, and remember that you always the choice to make your own life anew then you can let this heavy, sulky vibe go and achieve something positive out of it.
